Description

This is the replacement cylinder for the original wood bar version Soft Close retrofit kits or Soft Close feeders. There are two screws to remove, a Philips head screwdriver is required.

Estimated life is 30,000 to 50,000 cycles under normal conditions but the harsh conditions in a chicken coop might lower that life span estimate. The hydraulic fluid used is non toxic vegetable based oil and it has been tested down to 10 degrees F. Sub zero weather will require a change in door adjustment as the oil becomes thicker as the temperature goes lower.
